A few thoughts on Lindsay Lohan:
Lindsay Lohan's real troubles began not when she first violated her DUI probation many months ago. Her real troubles began when she insisted on having a formal probation violation hearing. That hearing ultimately led her to jail for violating the terms of her probation. Had she and her attorney quietly and quickly admitted the probation violation, the likelihood of the prosecutor or judge wanting to give her jail time would have been significantly reduced.
